Abstract: In volume III/21 an attempt is made to compile the reported data on superconducting materi-als, from the discovery of this phenomenon to the present day. The data comprise various modifications of a material, e.g. bulk state, thin films,implanted films, filamentary wires and others. Where available,data obtained under high pressure or after high energy particle irradia-tion are also tabulated. The goal of this volume is to establish a complete and reliable compilation of critically reviewed experimental data, excluding pure theoretical work. A particular effort was made to present not only superconducting data for a given substance, but also the complete characterization of the analysed sample. The large number of publications, more than 40,000 since 1913, requires a subdivision of the data in several subvolumes.

Abstract: Some years after the publication of Vol. III/11 and its supplement III/18 dealing with elastic, piezoelectric, pyroelectric and optical properties of crystals, a complete recompilation of the data of these volumes and of new data was performed. Because of the growth of this subject matter it was found convenient to divide the material into four volumes, III/29a and b for the low frequency properties and III/30a and b for high frequency propertiesof dielectric crystals. The first subvolume III/29a contains exclusively second and higher order elastic constants including temperature and pressure coefficients.

Abstract: This subvolume containes selected data on heats of mixing (excess enthalpies) of binary liquid mixtures of organic and inorganic nonelectrolytes, including aqueous-organic systems, in broad ranges of temperature, pressure, and composition. All the data are extracted from the original literature published from 1957 to 2003. The printed volume presents tables for 800 representative mixtures. The CD-ROM displays all these data, as well as 2853 additional data files, in PDF format and in a fully documented computer readable standard electronic file (SELF) format. Moreover, the ELBT-program allows the fast search of data according to property type, chemical system (substances and mixtures), author(s), source and year of publication. Moreover it allows the correlation of the numerical data with several equations and the display of the original data and of the correlated data in tabular and graphical form.

The ELBT-program allows the fast search of data according to property type, chemical system (substances, mixtures, and solutions), author(s), source and year of publication. The software on the CD-ROM allows the correlation of the numerical data with several equations and the display of the original data and of the correlated data in tabular and graphical form. In order to facilitate the storage, exchange and use of the data, the ELBT-program of this volume allows importation of the information of SELF and ELDATA files, as well as of the files containing the results of correlations into Spreadsheet ML documents.

Abstract: This volume is a compilation of vapor–liquid equilibrium data on subcritical binary single-phase or two-phase liquid–liquid systems. All the components are well-defined pure substances, which are organic or inorganic nonelectrolytes, including low-melting ionic liquids and water. The present database contains numerical data for 3316 systems. The book reproduces in tables and graphs the numerical values for only 802 binary mixtures, chosen to be representative of all the compound classes and property types. The full set of data is given on the CD–ROM accompanying the book. Most data files contain experimental data compiled from the original literature published from 1929 to mid 2006. The CD-ROM displays all these data in PDF format and in fully documented computer readable standard electronic files (SELF and ELDATA). The ELBT-program allows the fast search of data according to property type, chemical system, author(s), source and year of publication.
