Abstract: In volume III/21 a compilation is given of all reported experimental data on superconducting materials from the discovery of this phenomenon. The presented data include not only the superconducting properties related to a given material, but also the full metallurgical and crystallographical characterization. In addition to other low temperature physical properties, which are explicitly given in a particular column are presented. The substances are arranged alphabetically by the base element, i.e. that element with the highest concentration in an alloy or compound. Only original and critically reviewed experimental data are retained.

Abstract: The present subvolume IV/19B5 forms the first supplement of IV/19B1 through IV/19B4 and contains evaluated data for binary alloy systems from Ag-B to W-Zr appearing in alphabetic order of the elements in the chemical formula. The volume is accompanied by a CD, which allows computer calculation of a range of solution properties for selected temperature and phase composition ranges for the systems presented in that particular volume. Graphical representations, including the calculated phase diagram for each system, are also possible. Information on more comprehensive software, allowing complex equilibrium calculations involving both pure substances and solution phases of different types (e.g. slags, salt systems, aqueous solutions, etc.), can be obtained from SGTE members. A list of the SGTE membership is presented in the cover pages of this volume.

Abstract: For everyone concerned with the technology and application of metals and alloys and with the development of new metallic materials, a detailed knowledge of phase equilibria is indispensable. Also, information on the thermodynamic and crystallographic data of the systems under investigation is essential, and often metastable crystalline phases as well as quasicrystalline or amorphous alloys are of interest. Volume IV/5 presents such data.
